Metalúrgica da Longra - 70's Daciano da Costa is the author of the first serial designs in Portugal, such as the metal office furniture produced at Metalúrgica da Longra in the 60's. autonomous discipline, as a fundamental instrument of the industrial process. The collaboration between Daciano da Costa and Metalúrgica da Longra would last more than 30 years, one of the most productive relationships between national industry and design. His office furniture has become a contemporary classic. Atelier Daciano da Costa, as part of the project to value work and bring back classic models, launched in 2020 the first pieces of Estante 080, now called PRÁCTICA, a modular system of metal shelving developed in the 70s by Daciano da Costa . With a range of 9 colors selected according to the palette used by the author in the various models of metallic furniture and in 4 variations of sizes.
